Potencia Clown’s recent performance in Locarno, Switzerland had the audience in raptures, as Springtime was finally freed from her kidnapping.

Carolina Feliu’s performance – Donde esta la Primavera – is beginning to win fans across Europe. Her clown character, Potencia Clown finally making some waves in a sea of new women clowns where standards at times can be a little suspect.

Women clowns have grown in numbers over the last ten years and that’s a great thing. We need clowns and we need more clowns to offset the world’s madness. Carolina is one of the newer on the block with a charming show that is funny, original and even contains a message.

Potencia the protector and guardian of the Spring (La Primavera) has lost her charge somehow. Too many sleepy nights during the winter perhaps, but to make up for her mistake, she decides to find out what happened and find the Springtime before it is too late.

She discovers vital clues through a series of adventures with an expanding newspaper, a recycled puppet, a broomstick of strange powers and a singing lady oracle until she tracks down Springtime in an old castle run by the dark and dirty Contamination, a nasty and smelly being who has kidnapped and trapped her in a box.

Potencia fights her way through the castle and frees Springtime releasing beauty and harmony, colors and light, music and celebration back to the world.

In November comes the chance for the audiences of Chile, Argentina and Brazil to see the show and bookings have already begun. The show is for kids of all ages and ideal for a family entertainment.

Potencia is a wonderful clown for children but has enough jokes to keep adults happy too. After years of global touring director Johnny Melville ensures that in his comedy style adults should have as much fun as any kids have.
